Regional Sales Manager

Taiga Motors is seeking a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to drive growth through developing, activating, and managing the dealer network within the US Southeast. As a member of a fast-growing electric powersports and marine startup, this role is responsible for expanding Taiga’s dealer network, strengthening partner performance, growing adoption of electric powersports across both retail and fleet channels, and establishing Taiga as the leading electric powersports brand in the US Southeast region. The ideal candidate will be located in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, or North Carolina.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDealer Development & Relationship ManagementRecruit and onboard new dealers in priority marketsAct as the main liaison for assigned dealers, maintaining consistent communication and in-market presenceBuild strong working relationships that support long-term dealer success and alignmentEvaluate dealer performance and local market dynamics to identify growth opportunitiesOwn dealer performance across the region, including sales, retail success, and customer experienceGuide dealers on selling and positioning EV products, including customer education on ownership benefits and total cost advantagesSales Performance & Market GrowthDeliver regional wholesale and retail targets across vehicles and aftermarket productsCreate and execute territory and dealer-level plans to drive volume and brand awarenessGuide dealers on retail success, including EV training, lead management, and closing practices for EV’sDrive retail performance and pipeline development within assigned regionSupport sales activity directly in uncovered markets where neededCommercial & Fleet DevelopmentIdentify and develop opportunities with fleet and commercial customers (resorts, rentals, hospitality, and other partners)Support product demonstrations, proposals, and onboarding for fleet accountsCoordinate with dealers and internal teams to ensure successful delivery and ongoing supportOwn development of key fleet accounts within the regionDealer Enablement & Brand ExecutionPromote adoption of Taiga’s approach to EV sales, product positioning, and customer experienceTrain and coach dealer teams to improve product knowledge and retail effectivenessEncourage high standards in merchandising, customer engagement, and overall brand representationParticipate in events, demos, and regional activations to build awareness and demandInfluence dealer adoption of Taiga’s products and approachPlanning & OperationsUse data and reporting to monitor performance, track opportunities, and guide decisionsMaintain accurate records of dealer activity, pipeline, and forecastsManage travel, expenses, and time effectively to maximize field impactPROFILERequired:5+ years in sales, dealer-facing roles, or business developmentStrong communication and relationship management skillsAbility to analyze performance and translate insights into actionSelf-starter with the ability to operate independently in a field-based roleWillingness to travel extensively within the region and occasionally internationalComfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving startup environmentPreferred:Experience in powersports, marine, automotive, or EV sectorsBackground in dealer network growth or distribution modelsExposure to fleet, government, or commercial sales environmentsDegree in business or a related fieldWORKING CONDITIONSField-based role within assigned regionTravel required (50–80%) including occasional international travelWHY TAIGAPlay a key role in building a new category within powersportsDirect impact on market development and network growthFast-moving, entrepreneurial environment with significant upsideTaiga values diversity in hiring and in its workforce, and welcomes applications from people with diverse backgrounds, education and experience.
