CNC Programmer

Job Description Top JobLocated in Elyria, OHSalary: Based on Experience#LORAINWe are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills, hands-on machining knowledge, and the ability to work with engineering drawings and CAD models. This role requires accuracy, efficiency, and collaboration with machining and engineering teams.Responsibilities:Program CNC machines to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings and specificationsCreate, modify, and optimize CNC programs for quality, efficiency, and cycle timeUtilize SolidWorks and CAD software to interpret and create part models and toolpathsSelect appropriate tooling, fixtures, and cutting parametersTroubleshoot and resolve programming or machining issuesWork closely with machinists, engineers, and quality staff to ensure parts meet specificationsMaintain documentation for programs, revisions, and processesFollow company safety practices and quality standardsRequirements:Minimum of 3 years of CNC programming experienceProficiency with SolidWorks and general CAD softwareStrong understanding of CNC machining processes (milling and/or turning)Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawingsKnowledge of tooling, feeds, speeds, and machining materialsStrong problem-solving and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamQualifications:Experience with CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, or similar)Familiarity with multi-axis machiningPrior experience in a manufacturing or production environmentPay: Based on experienceHours: Monday-Frida 8AM-4:30PMApply online or at our office: Express can help you find the job that is a good fit for your needs and abilities, and you'll never have to pay a fee for our services and support.About us: Express works with job seekers to help you find the right job for your skills and experience.
