Their team designs and delivers some of the most advanced hyperscale data centers in North America, partnering with the world's leading technology companies to create facilities that support critical digital services around the clock.This is an opportunity to work alongside some of the industry's most respected mission critical engineers, influence projects measured in hundreds of megawatts, and play a key role in designing the infrastructure behind the next generation of computing.The OpportunityWe are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a high-performing Mission Critical team in one of their Texas offices.You will lead the mechanical design of complex, high-performance data center facilities, developing HVAC and critical cooling solutions that support some of the world's most demanding technology environments.From hyperscale campuses supporting AI workloads to next-generation cloud infrastructure, your work will directly impact facilities where reliability, efficiency, and uptime are non-negotiable.What You'll DoLead mechanical system design for hyperscale data centers from concept through construction.Design mission critical HVAC systems including chilled water, DX, airside, and heat rejection systems.Develop cooling strategies for high-density computing environments, including AI and advanced server loads.Perform HVAC load calculations, equipment selections, energy analysis, and system evaluations.Design mission critical infrastructure including CRAH/CRAC systems, chillers, pumps, cooling towers, and central utility systems.Coordinate closely with electrical, structural, civil, and architectural teams.Prepare engineering calculations, specifications, reports, and construction documents.Support construction administration activities including RFIs, submittals, commissioning support, and site observations.Interface directly with clients, contractors, vendors, and technology partners.Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continued growth of the mechanical engineering practice.What We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.PE license preferred or ability to obtain.8+ years of experience in mechanical building systems design.Experience designing mission critical, data center, industrial, healthcare, laboratory, or other high-reliability facilities preferred.Strong understanding of HVAC systems, thermal management, and applicable industry standards.Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, BIM coordination, and mechanical design software.Familiarity with energy modeling tools such as Trane TRACE, HAP, eQuest, or similar platforms is preferred.Strong understanding of ASHRAE standards, building codes, and mechanical design practices.Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.A passion for solving complex engineering challenges.Why This Opportunity Stands OutWork Exclusively on Mission Critical ProjectsJoin a team dedicated entirely to mission critical infrastructure.
