Senior Accountant

This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic accounting team supporting a large-scale manufacturing operation while contributing to ongoing process improvements and system implementations.The ideal candidate will possess strong general accounting experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Maintain and reconcile general ledger accountsManage fixed asset accounting, including depreciation reporting and account reconciliationsPrepare and record routine and non-routine journal entries with supporting documentationAssist with month-end close activities, including inventory valuation and analytical review proceduresEnsure accurate recording and classification of financial transactionsParticipate in periodic physical inventory auditsSupport accounts payable processes by reviewing purchase orders and supplier invoices for proper documentationCross-train and assist in additional accounting functions as neededSupport ERP implementation initiatives and process improvement projectsAssist with special projects and other accounting-related responsibilities as assigned
