After-School STEM Instructor

We are looking for enthusiastic, creative instructors to join our after-school STEM program. Our program brings science to life through fun, hands-on experiments in a fully equipped lab setting. Instructors lead two-hour sessions that inspire curiosity, build confidence, and help students develop real lab skills. *About the Role* * Teach interactive science lessons in English to small groups of students. * Prepare materials and guide students through experiments in chemistry, biology, physics, and engineering. * Foster a safe, positive, and engaging classroom environment. * Encourage critical thinking and creativity while keeping sessions fun and age-appropriate. * Collaborate with program leadership to deliver high-quality lessons. *Open Positions* * *Ages 6–8 Instructor*: Must have prior experience working with children. * *Ages 9–13 Instructor*: Must have prior experience with children and a science background (teaching, tutoring, or lab experience preferred). *What We Offer* * Part-time role with flexible scheduling. * Supportive, creative work environment. * Opportunity to inspire the next generation of scientists and innovators. * Competitive pay based on experience. *Qualifications* * Comfortable leading groups of children in a classroom or lab setting. * Strong communication skills in English (owner and many students also speak Russian). * Reliable, responsible, and enthusiastic about science education. * Must pass background check.
