Attorney - Litigation
Our client, a growing law firm with offices in Austin, Texas, is seeking an experienced litigator to support administrative proceedings, sort spin-off litigation, and manage significant condemnation activity. This position will require significant work on complex electric and telecommunications regulatory matters for outstanding clients, including some of the largest utilities and infrastructure investors.Lateral attorneys are encouraged to apply. Associate attorneys are eligible for partnership consideration after 5 years of employment with the firm; credit may be granted dependent on previous experience.Position Qualifications:Experience in handling administrative litigation matters, experience in the electric or telecommunications industry is a plusDemonstrated ability to provide excellent client service in a timely and efficient mannerStrong written and verbal communication skills with ability to explain complex legal principles to non-experts in a succinct and understandable mannerDetail-oriented problem solver with ability to function in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple competing priorities, while keeping a client first approachSelf-starter with a demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented environment and meet deadlines Position Requirements:Ideally, 3+ years of relevant work experience as a licensed attorneyJuris Doctor (J.D.)
