AC3 is committed to the highest standards of accuracy, safety, and professional expertise in every project.Role DescriptionAC3 is seeking a qualified Cal/OSHA Approved Façade Access System Surveyor for a full-time, on-site position based in Lafayette, CA. The Surveyor will be responsible for conducting inspections, testing, maintenance, and certification of façade access systems such as building maintenance units (BMUs), powered platforms, anchors, and davit systems. Additional responsibilities include ensuring compliance with rigorous safety standards, maintaining detailed inspection records, collaborating with team members, and generating official certification reports. The Surveyor will play a critical role in promoting safety and performance standards for various infrastructure and equipment.QualificationsKnowledge and hands-on experience with façade access systems, including BMUs, powered platforms, anchors, catenary systems, and davit/socket systemsSkills in equipment inspection, maintenance, repair, and proof load testing of cranes and lifting apparatusFamiliarity with Cal/OSHA requirements and the ability to ensure compliance with regulatory standardsStrong documentation, data reporting, and certification issuance skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a skilled team in on-site operational environments
