Junior Data Center TechnicianJunior Technician under the guidance of the Lead Technician, Supervisor and Project Manager will manage all phases of Datacenter installation Projects. Technician must be able to think strategically and demonstrate "Leadership". Technicians and Lead Technician will assume total ownership from the receipt of completed engineering "work package" to delivery of project completion and final documentation. Lead Technician must exhibit the ability to provide great customer service and deliver projects according to the customer's expectations.This is an entry level/junior level role that will provide an opportunity to get into the Data Center industry with an industry leader and learn and grow into the fastest growing industry in the world todayAll applicants applying will be required to submit to a background and drug screen. Candidates will need to acquire OSHA 10 and Aerial Certificates prior to 1 st day – (we will get you certified online after acceptance of offer)Spanish speaking candidates MUST BE 100% bilingual -This site is an active construction / build out environment , full Safety PPE must be worn daily. The location is in Moncks Corner SCW2-$19-21 W2 per hour / 1099- $22-24 per hourWe are targeting a start date of ASAPTechnician must be detail oriented, analytical. Technician must have the ability to understand and accurately complete all paperwork required of assigned project. Technician must be able to run small, medium, and large projects when required. Technician must be fully competent of the standard for quality installation craftsmanship and customer service excellence. Technician must be fully competent at installation and termination of various copper and fiber products in accordance with TIA/EIA standards and BICSI standards.Main Duties/Required Skills:Technician must be fully capable of interpreting test results from fiber and copper testers and successfully troubleshooting and properly repairing the fiber or copper cable plant to ultimately ensure a correct and valid test1 + years of construction, building or data center experienceEducation: High School Diploma or GED requir edOSHA 10 general certification will be required within 1 week of start date (online completion)Background and drug screenBICSI and industry Certifications are preferred Knowledge of fiber terms and troubleshooting is needed.Ability to drive company vehicle throughout the day. This position requires a background check and driver's license check.
