Entry Level Vendor Coordinator
VENDOR COORDINATOR IThe Vendor Coordinator I will support Vendor Relations procedures.
This role requires 100% onsite attendance in our Pontiac office.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGEnsuring compliance with Vendor Relations procedures.
Managing vendor pricing changes, invoicing issues, and cost reductions.
Assisting in the negotiation and strategy of vendor contracts.
Learning the purchase order process and assisting on orders as needed.
Maintaining UWM's vendor contract database.
Performing vendor due diligence and risk analysis.
Working with Legal team to ensure the legal soundness of the contractual relationships between UWM and its vendors.
Supporting the Director of Vendor Relations and Senior Vendor Coordinators.
Other duties as assigned.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOUBachelor's degree preferred or equivalent and relevant job experience.
Have a commitment to continuous business improvement.
Be capable of working closely with internal clients and vendors.
Have effective planning, organizational and project management skills.
Have the ability to offer feedback and ideas for various projects, and work as facilitator among multiple teams.
Have a strong attention to detail, and also the ability to shift priority quickly based on business need.
Have excellent written and communication skills.
Have the ability to work independently.
Be self-motivated and able to work well in a team-based environment.
Onsite attendance required.
