Phlebotomist / Clinical Laboratory Assistant - PRN

Identifies patients and properly labels specimen tubes. Determines priority of STAT draws. Ensures timely transport of allpatient specimens to lab for testing. Helps co-workers when needed and communicates with laboratorydepartments when needed to ensure an orderly work flow. Follows hospital exposure control plans/blood borne and airbornepathogens. Maintains confidentiality of all hospital and patient information atall times. Follows HIPAA regulations and policies. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function. Communicate with patients, families and co-workers in person, inwriting and on telephone.**Minimum Qualifications:** One year of phlebotomy experience, preferred Must be able to prioritize and multitask.
