Tower Tech

Position Summary: IET Systems has an immediate need for a full-time Tower Tech. The Tower Tech will assist in various tasks related to the construction and maintenance of communication towers. This is the ideal role for a person who thrives off multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. Specifically, we are seeking a high energy, detail-oriented person with a friendly, flexible personality, able to learn and handle everything that comes your way. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Upgrading sites, transporting equipment, and ensuring safety of the construction site. Install and terminate cables and assist in the demolition and reconstruction of structures. Stretching wire fencing, working with different types of clams, and following all safety rules on the job site. Tower erector in erection of transmission towers, installation of tower hardware, and stringing of transmission lines and cables. Unloading equipment from trucks Raises or lowers hardware tools and other materials to workers on the tower. Perform other duties as directed by management. Qualifications: Must have 1-2 years of construction experience. Tower experiences is a plus. Must be able to travel (90 percent) Must be able to lift 50 plus pounds. Must be able to follow safety rules on the job site. Must be able to pass a background, drug screen, and mvr check. Must have a valid drivers’ license. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to work in a team environment and independently as required. Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
