Learning and Development Consultant

About the roleThe Learning & Development Consultant serves as the primary internal learning & development consultant to managers and employees to support growth of Computacenter North America. We are looking for someone with a background in Learning or organizational development or has worked on ‘people impact’ change management projects.What you'll be doingPartner with business leaders to deliver services that support company objectives and that are consistent with Winning Together values.Provide a high level of consultancy skills to peers and customers both within the business and when working on projects.Design and implement solutions in Learning, Leadership Development and Performance Management Culture at ComputacenterBuild trusted relationship with external suppliers and select fitting offersUsing knowledge of best practice and industry trends, create and implement business improvementManage own time and workload contributing to the business strategy in order to help grow and develop the business.Demonstrate a creative and analytical approach to problem solvingWorking closely and as part of the HR team especially in collaboration with HR BPs, maintaining confidentiality in all business-related mattersEstablish productive relationships and networks with business leadersWork with HRBP’s and business leaders on people developmentBe flexible with occasional European/UK travel.Contribute to business strategy in order to help grow and develop the businessDemonstrate a creative and analytical approach to problem solvingDevelop effective working relationships through influencing and advisingAdvise on and implement the adoption of CC best practice and service offerings to ensure consistency of service.Act in accordance with Computacenter Information Security Policies and report any potential or actual Security events or other Security risks to the organization.Embrace and support Computacenter’s mission and core values.What you haveBachelor’s degree or equivalent in experienceMaster’s degree or equivalent in experienceLegally eligible to work in the United StatesProven track record of work experience in a challenging commercial environmentExperience in dealing with and influencing multi-tier managementExperience of developing best practice policies and procedures for functional areaGood knowledge and experience of SAP, MS Office and MS TeamsExcellent attention to detailStrategic thinking and tactical execution skillsGood knowledge of the IT industry and an understanding of IT technologies and productsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsComfortable communicating with colleagues in different countries where English is not the first spoken languageGood self-organization and time management skillsAbility to prioritize and handle multiple requests simultaneouslyCan build trust, be assertive when required and shows initiative and enthusiasmResilience, and able to deal with stressful situationsBusiness and financial acumen with strong analytical skillsDemonstrate an understanding of product supply chainsCommercially astuteTeam-oriented working and thinkingWhat you can expectThere’s so much more to enjoy about being at Computacenter than just having a rewarding career.
