The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic oversight of the full lifecycle of technology and SaaS vendor relationships, including sourcing, risk evaluation, and due diligence. This role is pivotal in ensuring that vendor partnerships align with the company's objectives, particularly in the areas of cost optimization, risk mitigation, and operational efficiency. The AVP will also be a key player in driving value through vendor rationalization and negotiation of commercial terms, as well as overseeing the contract lifecycle management process. Experience in the financial services, mortgage servicing, or insurance industry is highly preferred.Applicants must have a minimum of 7 years' experience in IT procurement, category management, or third-party risk management, with a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, SaaS models, cloud services, and cybersecurity. The role requires a proven ability to negotiate and manage complex vendor contracts, knowledge of third-party risk management frameworks, and the ability to build strong relationships across business, technology, and control functions. The ideal candidate will also have experience in vendor rationalization, IT sourcing transformations, and be familiar with TPRM platforms and data visualization tools.
