Nurses are assigned to a specific care area, which may includememory care, long-term care, or skilled nursing,depending on the position.Position SummaryThe RN/LPN is a valued member of the nursing team responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with each resident's individualized care plan. This role supports residents in a designated care setting while promoting dignity, comfort, and safety. RNs and LPNs also provide clinical oversight, coordination of care, and guidance to nursing assistants as appropriate.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct nursing care, including medication administration, treatments, and clinical interventionsAssess residents' physical, emotional, and cognitive status and respond appropriatelyDevelop, implement, and update individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary teamSupervise and support CNAs in delivering daily care and ensuring quality standards are metObserve, document, and report changes in residents' condition to appropriate team membersPromote residents' independence, preferences, and dignity while maintaining safetyCommunicate effectively with physicians, nurses, team members, residents, and familiesMaintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirementsEnsure compliance with infection control, safety, and confidentiality protocolsRespond to emergencies and provide appropriate nursing interventionsRequirementsActive and in-good-standing RN or LPN license in the State of MaineAbility to work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers, residents, families, and supervisorsAbility to exercise clinical judgment, discretion, and maintain confidentialityAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamProficiency in spoken and written EnglishBasic computer skillsShifts Available:Full-Time or Part-Time positions available.
