Medical Delivery Driver - CDL
Oxygen Delivery EmployeeOffering $15 - $20 per hour This employee performs routine delivery of oxygen and equipment in a professional, safe and timely manner. This includes accurate recordkeeping, excellent customer service, and adherence to DOT/FDA/OSHA/Lincare safety standards.Job Functions:Makes oxygen deliveries (liquid oxygen, cylinder, and concentrator) and equipment checks on a daily route as determined by customer base and Lincare routing systemDeliveries may include refilling reservoirs with liquid oxygen from a truck mounted tankPerforms minor equipment repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment both in the facility and at the centerFor equipment repairs requiring other than minor repair work equipment is to be packaged for shipment to the manufacturer or their designeeResponsible for equipment maintenance per schedule recommended by the manufacturerMaintains company vehicle in clean and orderly mannerMakes daily inspections and complete proper paperworkMaintains established preventative maintenance scheduleCleans rental equipment when returned to the center in accordance with Lincare policies and proceduresMaintains cleanliness and organization of warehouse/storage areaFollows FDA guidelines pertaining to cylinder tracking and oxygen analyzer testingFollows Lincare policies as indicated in the operations manual and training manuals, including those found in the Safety & Regulatory manual regarding General Safety, OSHA (includes the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment), DOT (includes adherence to the Vehicle Safety Disciplinary Policy), FDA, and Emergency PlanningWorks as oncall service representative evenings and weekends on an as scheduled basisFrequency is determined by the center size and the number of employees available to share in the responsibilityMust respond in a timely manner and record information on Service Call ReportMay serve as a backup to other employees for vacation, illness, and other periods of absenteeismPerforms other duties as assignedComplies with all policies and standardsEducation:High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) RequiredKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Must have good people skills, with excellent verbal and written communicationMust be 21 years of ageMust be willing to obtain a CDL class C or above with Hazardous Materials certificationLicenses and Certifications:Must have and maintain a valid driver's licenseCDL RequiredLincare offers employees a variety of competitive benefits that include ongoing training and advancement opportunities.
