Work closely with the planning and warehouse teams to plan and manage optimal inventory levels, balancing service against operating efficiencyEngage with different departments to gain a holistic understanding of the organization's operations and integrate insights into the process mapping projectRegularly update management on the progress of the process mapping project, presenting findings and proposing actionable recommendationsContinuously gather knowledge about the latest trends and tools in supply chain management, especially in the realm of warehouse inventory planningAssist in preparing reports to interface with international partnersWhat skills and experience do I need to be successful in this role? Pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, business administration, logistics, or related fieldCompleted Sophomore year of collegeBasic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to learn Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software such as SAPDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively with various departments and effectively communicate ideas and findingsLocal to the St. Louis area with housing options established for the summerMinimal to no travel requiredMust be able to sit for extended periodsWhat will set me apart?Demonstrated experience or coursework in project management or organizational strategiesFamiliarity with business process mapping tools or software such as Microsoft VisioDemonstrated ability to take the lead on projects and a keen interest in driving improvements ICL will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
