Construction Project Manager
Position: Commercial Construction Project ManagerLocation: Chico, CA (Onsite)Job Type: Full-Time - Direct hireSalary: $95,000 – $150,000 (DOE)OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from pre-construction through completion. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to manage budgets, schedules, and project teams effectively.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage project budgets, including subcontractor pricing and contractsLead project start-up activities ensuring all documentation is in place (insurance, contracts, permits, etc.)Review and manage project documents, drawings, and specificationsPrepare and manage RFIs and submittalsCoordinate and manage inspections and site logisticsSupport development and maintenance of project schedulesManage change orders, cost tracking, and forecastingPrepare and submit monthly billing requestsProcess subcontractor and vendor invoices in a timely mannerEnsure compliance with jobsite safety programs and standardsCommunicate project updates and escalate major issues to leadershipMaintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholdersIdentify and pursue opportunities for future businessProvide leadership and direction to project teams to ensure successful project deliveryQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (Required)Minimum 5+ years of commercial construction project management experienceStrong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and regulationsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsExcellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlinesTechnical SkillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Microsoft ProjectExperience with Bluebeam and AdobeKnowledge of Procore preferredFamiliarity with AutoDesk Build and Sage 300 is a plusAdditional RequirementsValid US Driver’s LicenseMust be willing to relocate to Chico, CAThis is a full-time onsite role (no remote work)BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experienceAnnual performance bonus401(k) with profit sharingHealth insurancePaid time off and holidays
