Pest Control Technician

Modern Pest is seeking a Pest Control Technician to service our clientsin the Boston, MA and surrounding towns/cities. In this role, you\'llspend your day on the road within your community solving pestchallenges, building long-term relationships with your clients, andprotecting homes and businesses from dangerous, destructive, anddisease-carrying pests. Upon successful completion of training andonboarding, you\'ll obtain a pesticide applicator\'s license and beginto work independently. You\'ll receive a company-owned vehicle with gascard for all work-related driving, including to and from your homedaily, as well as a company cell phone. To reduce unnecessary drive timeand be as efficient as possible, your route will be scheduled withinreasonable driving distance from your place of residence. Job dutieswill include, but are not limited to: Traveling to and from job sites inyour company-owned vehicle Conducting thorough interior and exteriorinspections to locate dangerous pests Offering sound advice on bothchemical and natural pest control remediation options Sprayingperimeters of homes and structures for termites, ants and other insectsUsing bait or traps to eliminate rats and mice Covering gaps/open areaswith various materials to hinder pest entry Recommending products andservices for effective pest control, such as our eco-friendly SMARTsolutions At Modern Pest, we value hardworking individuals with a strongcustomer service mindset, and welcome those seeking a new opportunity, acareer change, a supportive team with growth opportunities, or amanagement team that sets you up for success.
