Faculty will work directly with Department Chair to meet course and program objectives. Responsible for upholding and supporting course and program policies.Course is instructed in an online environment.Essential Functions:Instructs students in assigned classes.Provides academic guidance and counseling to students in cooperation with Student Services Personnel.Maintains academic standards.Prepares course syllabus and outline.Monitors student progress.Keeps adequate and accurate records.Enters final course grades online.Other Duties:8. Performs other duties as assigned.Accountabilities:Under the direct supervision of the Department Chair, each adjunct faculty member is responsible for satisfying the educational, administrative, and fiscal requirements inherent in his/her position.Job Specifications:Master's degree or higher in Meteorology, or related discipline, or a Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in Meteorology, or related discipline.OTHER HIGHLY DESIRED QUALITIES:Commitment to the college mission and guiding principles.Hiring Range:$61 per contact hourSpecial Instructions to Applicants:By completing this application, your information will be added to the candidate pool.
