Administrative Assistant

Position Overview: Performs administrative and office support activities for plant managers and supervisors. Duties may include fielding telephone calls, receiving and directing visitors, word processing, filing, and faxing. Essential Job Functions •Answer Phones in a timely and courteous manner •Take orders over the phone •Product descriptions to customer •Internal and external customer service •Billing (orders from customers for services) •Receive in A/R to Syspro and then give to Plant Administrator to deposit •Inputting all customer service orders •Confirmations for services •Contact plants with service times for the next day Qualifications •High School Diploma or GED •Experience with multi-line telephone Knowledge, Skills and Abilities •Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook •Excellent written and verbal communication skills •Ability to prioritize projects and strong problem-solving skills •Good research skills and attention to detail NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
