Production Associate - 1st shift

Our Fort Recovery Feed & Animal Division in Mercer and Darke counties, in Ohio, produces and delivers feed while providing support to our contract farmers raising animals for production. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 1st shift Production Associate to join our Liquid Egg Products team in Fort Recovery.SHIFT HOURS: Monday through Friday 6:00am-4:30pmSTARTING HOURLY RATE: $17.00 with the potential of increasing to $17.20 after 90 days.ADDITIONAL PAY: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)All training will be provided for this entry level position. Job functions include:Loader/Material Handler:Lifting stacks of flats of eggs on to the loader conveyor efficientlyDisposing of inedible product in correct containers when needed.Candler:Being able to recognize and remove any dirt's, rotten, blood and leaking eggs.Breaker:Being able to recognize and remove any shells or blood in the cups.Scanner:Being able to recognize and remove any eggs that could create contamination (dirt's, leaker, blood, rot).RequirementsMust be 18 years of age.Ability to be on feet for prolonged periods of time.Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
