Senior Metering Project Engineer- E&C

About The RoleWe're looking for a Senior Metering Project Engineer- E&C on behalf of our client. This is a 1-year contract assignment.(W-2) You will oversee metering systems for renewable development, design, and construction. You will ensure all metering activities meet project requirements and align with commercial agreements. The role spans from concept development through construction and commissioning. You will work with engineering, development, business management, transmission services, and other external team members.In lieu of metering-specific experience, the client will consider candidates with AI background. Working with AI systems, tools, developing AI agents Some IT & AI knowledge with an engineering background and degree.Location: Remote will be considered- Juno or central FL.Travel requirements is approx. 10%Key ResponsibilitiesProvides engineering, design, and development supportTracks and reports on project contractual execution and design progressDelivers company standards, policies, and support of organizationPrepares communications, presentations and provides support at meetingsFormulates research, and develops improvement measuresWorks with other departments within the organization to establish customer requirementsPerforms other job-related duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor's – EngineeringExperience: 3+ years in relevant P&C/Substation/Metering Engineering experience, and Project ManagementTypical metering experience includes an ability to read protection & control drawings, understanding of instrument transformers including type, accuracy, & burden (CT, PTs, CVTs),Familiarity with a variety of metering technologies with a focus on Schneider Electric ION-8650 meters, understanding of meter to meter (peer to peer) schemes.Helpful QualificationsBachelor's – Electrical EngineeringMaster's – Engineering ManagementPMP CertificationExperience: 5+ years P&C/Subs/Metering Engineering experience.With 2+yrs of project management experienceOur Safety Pledge To YouIf you are as committed to your success as we are committed to your safety, then this is the position for you!
