Assistant Superintendent
We are seeking a driven Assistant Superintendent to support the delivery of ground up multifamily construction projects in the Raleigh market. This role is ideal for someone early in their field leadership career who wants hands on exposure to large scale multifamily builds and a clear path to Superintendent. You will partner closely with the Superintendent and Project Team to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the daily field operations of multifamily construction projects
Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and inspections to maintain schedule
Help enforce site safety programs and ensure OSHA compliance
Monitor work for quality control and adherence to plans and specifications
Support scheduling efforts, including short interval planning and look aheads
Maintain daily reports, logs, and field documentation
Work closely with project management on RFIs, submittals, and project updates
Participate in punch list completion and project closeout activities
Qualifications
2+ years of construction experience (multifamily is a must)
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred but not required)
Strong understanding of construction sequencing and field operations
Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications
Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
Excellent communication and organization skills
Proficiency with construction software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.) is a plus
