Regional Sales Manager - Process Automation Group
About the Role
Acromag is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to drive sales growth for our Process Automation product line. This role is responsible for developing new business opportunities, supporting channel partners, managing key accounts, and helping customers implement industrial hardware and software solutions for process control and automation applications.
This position is ideal for a motivated sales professional with experience in industrial automation, controls, instrumentation, or related technical markets.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and grow sales within the assigned territory through direct customer engagement and channel partner support
Manage and support manufacturer representatives, distributors, and sales channels
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through marketing leads, outbound prospecting, referrals, and customer inquiries
Work closely with customers to understand application requirements and recommend appropriate hardware and software solutions
Manage and expand strategic customer accounts
Promote the complete portfolio of Acromag Process Group products
Maintain accurate opportunity pipelines, forecasts, customer records, and sales activity within CRM systems
Develop and execute territory sales plans, forecasts, and growth strategies
Coordinate customer activities with field sales representatives and internal teams
Support quotation and proposal activities with inside sales staff
Participate in trade shows, customer presentations, product launches, and marketing initiatives
Provide market and customer feedback to engineering and product management teams
Continuously maintain and expand technical product knowledge
5+ years of technical or industrial sales experience
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
Ability to understand customer applications and technical requirements
Strong organizational and time management skills
Experience in industrial automation, process control, instrumentation, or related markets
