It addresses challenges related to scalability, reliability, and performance in web infrastructure while supporting millions of users and projects globally.About the OpportunityThe Associate Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for improving the reliability, stability, and performance of the organization’s customer-facing production infrastructure. This role helps ensure the platform remains secure, scalable, and resilient for a global user base while supporting the successful launch and ongoing operation of web projects.Responsibilities• Maintain monitoring and observability tools while collaborating with engineering teams on best practices.• Improve application reliability in Kubernetes by optimizing resources, upgrades, scalability, and fault tolerance.• Investigate and resolve production issues within codebases using Node.js, Python, or Go.• Collaborate with Customer Support, Partnerships, and Sales teams to support customers using production services.• Participate in and continuously improve on-call and incident response processes.Requirements• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating or debugging distributed systems in production.• Proficiency with at least one major cloud provider, such as AWS or GCP.• Experience managing Kubernetes workloads and familiarity with GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or Argo Rollouts.• Practical experience with observability tools such as Datadog or OpenTelemetry, including creating dashboards, alerts, or traces.• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or Ansible.• Ability to read and modify application code to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and follow established incident management protocols.• Openness to learning and applying emerging technologies, including AI.Pay Range and Compensation Package• United States Zone A: $158,300 - $190,000 USD• United States Zone B: $148,300 - $178,000 USD• United States Zone C: $140,000 - $168,000 USD• Canada (ON & BC): $173,000 - $207,000 CAD• Eligibility to participate in a company-wide performance-based bonus program.Equal Opportunity Statement: Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
