About The PositionPower Design is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Lead Janitorial Specialist to support and oversee nightly cleaning operations. This role will act as a key point of support for management, ensuring high cleaning standards are maintained while helping coordinate team activities during the shift. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and experienced in commercial cleaning environments.This role is Monday-Friday 5:30pm - 2:00amPosition Details / ResponsibilitiesProvide general operational support, assisting Managers with daily cleaning and facility tasksDistribute janitorial supplies to closets and monitor inventory levels; notify management when restocking is neededReceive, verify, and organize incoming supply deliveries; maintain clean and orderly storage areasOperate automatic floor-scrubbing equipment to clean and maintain flooring throughout the propertyAddress minor cleaning needs such as stain removal, supply replacement, and special cleaning projectsConduct quality assurance inspections; identify deficiencies, communicate feedback to staff, and ensure corrections are completedReport facility or cleanliness issues to management, including maintenance concerns or areas falling below standardsMaintain cleanliness of all areas including floors, restrooms, common areas, furniture, and fixturesIn the absence of a Manager, act in a supervisory capacity by coordinating workflow and guiding team members during the shiftSupport trash removal, restroom servicing, dusting, and general cleaning duties as neededCarry out additional tasks as assigned to ensure all work is completed according to company standardsWhat We’re Looking ForHigh School diploma or equivalent required4+ years of commercial cleaning experience, with leadership or supervisory experience preferredStrong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and quality standardsAbility to lead by example and provide direction to team membersGood communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environmentComfortable working both independently and as part of a teamBasic knowledge of cleaning equipment and chemicals (or willingness to learn)Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 50+ lbs occasionallyAbility to work overnight shifts consistentlyAt Power Design, we are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants and teammates without regard to race, color, religion, sex, pregnancy, national origin, age, physical and mental disability, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, genetic information, military and veteran status, and any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
