Maintenance TechnicianThis role focuses on maintaining and repairing industrial equipment in a manufacturing environment, with a strong emphasis on hydraulic systems, electrical work, and mechanical troubleshooting. You will use your ability to read blueprints and work safely with high-voltage systems to ensure machinery operates efficiently and reliably.ResponsibilitiesChange and replace hydraulic hoses on industrial machinery to ensure safe and efficient operation.Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production equipment.Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to diagnose issues and complete repairs accurately.Work safely and confidently with 480-volt electrical systems while following all safety procedures.Inspect equipment regularly to identify potential problems and perform preventive maintenance.Use knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics to diagnose and repair system failures.Document maintenance activities and communicate equipment status to the team as needed.Maintain productivity levels by completing assigned tasks efficiently and within required timeframes.Demonstrate consistent attendance and reliability to support smooth plant operations.Collaborate with team members and remain open to learning new systems, tools, and procedures.Essential SkillsProven ability to change and replace hydraulic hoses on industrial equipment.Mechanical aptitude with experience performing repairs and maintenance on machinery.Electrical aptitude with the ability to work comfortably and safely with 480-volt systems.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.Hands-on experience with hydraulics and pneumatics in an industrial setting.Strong troubleshooting skills for both mechanical and electrical issues.Demonstrated willingness to learn new skills, processes, and technologies.Consistent attendance and reliability in a production or manufacturing environment.Ability to maintain productivity and manage tasks efficiently.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience as a maintenance technician in an industrial or manufacturing environment.Experience with industrial repair, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on safety and quality.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.Why Work Here?The company offers a performance-driven culture where your contributions are recognized and rewarded with raises based on your results rather than tenure. A shift differential applies when working second shift.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lemont Furnace, PA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
