Overview
As Head of Data & Analytics, you lead a team of analysts and engineers to design scalable analytics solutions that empower informed decisions. You guide platform modernization, including Microsoft Fabric adoption, and reduce technical debt while enforcing data governance and reporting standards. You partner with business units and global teams to translate needs into technical outcomes, balancing strategic initiatives with hands-on BI delivery. ResponsibilitiesLead and develop a team of data analysts and engineersMentor talent and foster analytics excellence with standardized quality, documentation, and practicesStrategically balance reactive requests with long-term modernization effortsCollaborate with business units and technical teams to translate needs into technical solutionsDrive modernization of the analytics platform, migrating toward Fabric-based data engineeringReduce technical debt and promote best practices in data modeling and pipelinesOwn the analytics technology stack roadmap in coordination with ITEstablish data security, governance, and HIPAA-aligned complianceDeliver end-to-end analytics, including data models, dashboards, and analytical solutionsLead cross-functional analytics workstreams and translate requirements into technical solutionsDesign and maintain enterprise data models, reports, and BI dashboardsIdentify and develop process automation using Power Automate and Power AppsManage project scope and timelines for automation initiativesTravel up to 20%
Key requirementsBachelor's degree in a related field5+ years in analytics, BI, or data analysisExpertise in SQL and Power BIExperience in a regulated industry (healthcare, life sciences, etc.)Advanced SQL and Power BI capabilities including data modeling and performance optimizationExperience architecting scalable analytics solutions on modern data platforms (Fabric, Lakehouse, cloud ecosystems)Proven leader of high-performing teams and distributed resourcesStrong project management and Agile experienceStrong business partnership skills translating complex needs into analyticsKnowledge of data governance, quality, and HIPAA/complianceAbility to balance strategic and operational prioritiesHands-on, player-coach mindsetleadership and people developmentstakeholder managementcommunicationMicrosoft FabricAzure data servicesPython or R
