Journeyman Plumber

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join our family owned plumbing company. Experienced plumber needed: -Looking for someone with at least 5 years experience -Looking to find someone with a journeymans license -Backflow certification is a plus -Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues & emergencies -Comfortable with residental & commercial plumbing work -Manage and control truck inventory & ensure truck is properly stocked & tidy -Communicate with dispatch to ensure schedule is properly implemented and any client special requiests are properly executed. -Available to assist with on-call jobs Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, valves, and appliances in commercial and residential buildings. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise plumbing layouts. Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding tools, and other construction tools to complete installations and repairs. Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols. Conduct routine maintenance checks on plumbing systems and troubleshoot issues using mechanical knowledge. Collaborate with other trades such as carpentry and HVAC technicians to coordinate project tasks effectively. Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications. Skills Extensive experience in construction plumbing with a strong understanding of pipe installation, pipe threading, and schematics reading. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques required for site work. Knowledge of HVAC systems and general mechanical principles relevant to plumbing applications. Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Strong field service skills with the capability to troubleshoot plumbing issues efficiently on-site. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout planning. Experience with remodeling, maintenance work, assembly tasks, and handyman responsibilities is a plus. Valid commercial driver's license or ability to operate construction vehicles may a plus.
