Audio Engineer Technician

Job Description : We are seeking an experienced Audio Engineer Technician to join our team in Austin, Texas. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 3 years experience and be comfortable using Midas X32 or Behringer X32 and Allen & Heath SQ Series Mixer. Knowledge and experience in regional Mexican music is a plus, and Spanish speaking bilingualism is also a plus. Responsibilities: Operate and maintain audio equipment, including mixing consoles, microphones, speakers, and amplifiers.Set up, test, and troubleshoot audio systems for live events, performances, and recordings.Monitor and adjust audio levels during performances to ensure high-quality sound output.Collaborate with artists, performers, and event staff to ensure their audio needs are met.Work with other audio engineers and technicians to coordinate and execute audio setups for events and performances.Perform regular maintenance and calibration on audio equipment to ensure it is functioning correctly.Maintain an organized inventory of audio equipment and supplies. Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of experience in audio engineering and equipment setup.Must be comfortable using Midas X32 or Behringer X32 and Allen & Heath SQ Series Mixer.Knowledge and experience in regional Mexican music is a plus.Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.Must be available for a full-time or on-call position.Must be able to work 2-4 days per week, Thursday-Sunday.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Must be able to lift heavy equipment and work in a physically demanding environment.
