Learn more about the general tasks related to this opportunity below, as well as required skills.Apply today and you could start as soon as this week.As a PeopleReady associate you'll benefit from:Connections and experience with some of the top companies in your areaGreat benefit package optionsGet matched to jobs quickly.Competitive pay and steady scheduleThe ability to see your schedule and track your hours right from our easy-to-use app, JobStack!Pay Rate:The pay rate for this job is $25 - $35 / hour*What you'll be doing as a Restoration Technician:Perform restoration-related construction work including drywall repair, patching, and installationComplete interior and exterior painting (prep, masking, finishing)Assist with basic plumbing repairs (fixture replacement, minor leaks, etc.)Conduct light carpentry work such as framing, trim, and general repairsRemove and replace damaged materials (drywall, flooring, insulation, etc.) due to water/fire damageOperate hand tools and power tools safely and effectivelyAssist with water, fire, and mold restoration projects as neededEnsure job sites are kept clean, organized, and safeFollow supervisor instructions, project scopes, and safety guidelinesCommunicate progress and issues with team members and managementAvailable shifts:Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day)Job requirements:Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReadyPrevious experience in construction, restoration, or related trades (drywall, painting, carpentry, etc.)Ability to perform drywall repair, painting and basic repairs independentlyFamiliarity with hand tools and power toolsBasic knowledge of plumbing or general maintenance is a plusAbility to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor throughout the dayReliable transportation to travel to various job sites in surrounding citiesStrong work ethic and ability to work with minimal supervisionAbility to follow instructions, safety procedures, and job scopesOSHA Certification is a plusBackground Check RequiredDrug Test RequiredReady to take control of the way you work?Complete our application to join the PeopleReady team today.*Hourly pay rates are a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
