Production Supervisor As a Production Supervisor, you will oversee the manufacturing assembly process for our Immunoassay diagnostic instruments, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance. You will play a critical leadership role, driving short-term and long-term business objectives while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Responsibilities:Manage direct reports by providing coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback.Support career growth and professional development for team members.Ensure proper training for new employees on equipment operations and work procedures.Oversee assembly operations, ensuring adherence to FDA Quality System Regulations (QSR), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and industry standards.Use lean manufacturing principles such as Kaizen, Gemba, and 5S to drive improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.Identify and implement efficiency improvements in production methods, equipment performance, and workflow.Work with cross-functional teams to tackle challenges and develop sustainable solutions.Approve design changes and assess manufacturability for new processes.Maintain accurate production records and report work status.Set and deliver on challenging yet achievable goals within available resources.Ensure alignment with business objectives and long-term growth targets.Maintain organization and strategic training plans for the production area.Essential Skills:High school diploma with 8+ years' experience, OR Bachelor's degree with 5+ years' experience, OR Master's degree with 3+ years' experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.Proven ability to lead production teams by defining measurable goals, implementing performance standards, and utilizing structured feedback systems.Experience applying lean manufacturing principles such as Kaizen, 5S, and Gemba.Knowledge of FDA, QSR, or GMP compliance requirements.Competence in data analysis for process improvement and KPI tracking.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Self-starter with motivation for continuous improvement.Proven track record of building sustainable processes that deliver on production plans while setting and achieving challenging organizational goals.Why Work Here?Join a global diagnostics leader driving healthcare innovation. The position involves managing three different teams including Production Control, Packaging, and Tech Operations, with approximately 13 direct reports.Job Type & Location:This is a Permanent position based out of Chanhassen, MN.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $85,000-$100,000/yr.
