About the OpportunityA rapidly growing, private equity-backed SaaS / technology organization is seeking a Senior Manager / Director of FP&A to report directly to the CFO and help build, scale, and professionalize the company’s financial planning and analysis function.This is a highly visible, hands-on opportunity for someone who wants to operate as a strategic finance leader while also remaining deeply involved in modeling, forecasting, reporting, and business partnership activities. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where they can help build FP&A infrastructure from the ground up while partnering directly with executive leadership.The organization is experiencing significant growth and is looking for someone who can help create scalable finance processes, improve visibility into company performance, and support executive decision-making across the business.Key Responsibilities• Build and lead the FP&A function including budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and financial analysis• Serve as a strategic partner to the CFO and executive leadership team• Develop and maintain complex financial models including revenue forecasting, headcount planning, expense modeling, and scenario analysis• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, Operations, and G&A leaders to support budgeting, ROI analysis, and operational decision-making• Lead budget vs. actual analysis and clearly communicate business drivers, risks, and opportunities• Prepare executive-ready financial reporting packages, KPI dashboards, and board/investor reporting materials• Build scalable FP&A processes, reporting cadences, templates, and financial tools• Support strategic initiatives including growth planning, pricing analysis, resource allocation, and operational efficiency projects• Work closely with Accounting to ensure accurate alignment between actuals, financial reporting, and forecasting assumptions• Help support future growth initiatives including institutional reporting, investor readiness, and finance infrastructure buildout• Operate as a highly hands-on individual contributor initially with opportunity to help scale the FP&A function over timeRequired Qualifications• 7–12+ years of progressive FP&A, strategic finance, corporate finance, investment banking, transaction advisory, or related experience• Prior experience within high-growth SaaS, technology, PE-backed, venture-backed, or scaling business environments• Strong financial modeling skills with the ability to build models from scratch in Excel• Experience owning budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and long-range planning processes• Strong understanding of SaaS business models, recurring revenue metrics, and operational KPIs• Ability to partner directly with executive leadership and translate business activity into actionable financial insights• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and how financial statements integrate with FP&A analysis• Comfortable operating independently within lean, fast-moving organizations• Excellent communication, analytical, and presentation skills• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field• U.S. Citizenship requiredPreferred Qualifications• MBA strongly preferred• CPA or prior Big 4 / transaction advisory background preferred• Experience within SaaS, software, AI, government contracting, defense technology, or national security-related environments• Experience supporting PE-backed growth organizations or pre-IPO readiness initiatives• Exposure to executive reporting, board reporting, and investor-facing financial packages• Experience implementing or utilizing planning/reporting platforms such as NetSuite Planning & Budgeting, Adaptive, Anaplan, Oracle PBCS, or PlanfulWhy This Opportunity?• Direct exposure to executive leadership and CFO mentorship• Opportunity to build and shape FP&A infrastructure from the ground up• High-growth PE-backed SaaS/technology environment• Strong compensation package including bonus and equity• Significant upward mobility and long-term growth potential• Opportunity to make a measurable impact on company growth and strategic decision-making
