26' Box Truck Freight Delivery Driver

Quick Delivery Service is currently expanding the following divisions: Pensacola, Florida Terminal This will be a dedicated run in the Pensacola, FL area Monday-Friday Driver must have at least 1 year of experience with Box truck with liftgate to be considered for this position REQUIRED Driver with TWIC card and military base access preferred, but not required. If this sounds like something you are interested in, please submit your application or resume Responsibilities Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from Commercial and Residential locations. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance Plan routes and meet delivery schedules Document work and retain fuel/toll receipts Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions Collect and verify delivery instructions Report defects, accidents or violations Skills Proven work experience as a 26' Box truck driver Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software. Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations Job does require DOT physical, drug test and good physical condition to handle general freight by hand, 2 wheel hand truck or pallet jack. Be aware this is not a small package delivery service!
