Expect to see patients in all levels of acuity from ICU to progressive care units with diagnoses of CABG & other cardiac procedures, stroke, TBI, joint replacements, fracture repairs, respiratory illnesses, dementia, MS, Parkinson, amputation etc. PTA is expected to follow POC that may include gait training, therapeutic exercises, therapeutic activities, and neuromuscular techniques to improve function and to assess appropriateness of discharge disposition recommendation on a daily basis. Work with the team to manage daily caseload and complete documentation daily.
