With a wealth of history and expertise, Artemax is dedicated to creating opportunity and growth for every employee.POSITION SUMMARYThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for the installation, repair, rebuilding, and maintenance of machinery and mechanical equipment used in production and related services. This role encompasses a wide range of duties, including the upkeep of HVAC systems, lighting, plant air, and general building maintenance activities. The technician is expected to maintain a preventative maintenance schedule for equipment, manage consumable parts inventories, diagnose machine malfunctions, and oversee third-party contractor support when necessary.Read the overview of this opportunity to understand what skills, including and relevant soft skills and software package proficiencies, are required.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESEquipment Maintenance & RepairPerform routine preventive maintenance on production machinery and support equipment.Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.Inspect equipment for wear, misalignment, or potential failures.Maintain accurate maintenance records, service logs, and PM schedules.Production SupportRespond promptly to equipment breakdowns to reduce downtime.Assist operators with machine setup, adjustments, and minor repairs.Communicate recurring issues and recommend long term solutions.Safety & ComplianceFollow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and equipment guarding.Identify and report unsafe conditions or equipment hazards.Ensure maintenance activities comply with company policies and regulatory standards.Parts & Inventory ManagementMaintained organized toolbox, work area, and spare parts.
