Individuals will be certified to utilize a forklift by Coastal.Job ResponsibilitiesReceive customer order slips from supervisor, gather correct products by hand or with forklift, assemble orders for customer, leave in designated spot for pick upSafely utilize forklift to move completed pallets to staging areas, or to load pallets onto vehiclesWork directly with customers in a friendly, professional, positive manner to check orders Perform basic, routine maintenance to include recharging batteries; lubricating, fueling and cleaning forkliftMake sure all housekeeping is maintained in a clean and orderly fashion in assigned areaOther duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as neededJob RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent; a minimum of two years of related experience in trades specific to job requirements; or equivalent combination of education and experienceMust be able to pass an internal certification programAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, and procedure manualsAbility to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organizationAbility to be a self-starter and work independentlyAbility to add, subtract multiply and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimalsAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram formMaintain a high level of accuracy in all aspects of work assignmentsAbility to work a flexible scheduleBilingual in English and Spanish preferredPrevious experience operating a forklift or other heavy equipment like a front-end loader or bulldozerWhile performing the duties of this job the employee will be required to frequently stand on their feet for extended periods of timeMust have the ability to lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.Withstand repetitive motion of the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulderWhat CRH Offers YouHighly competitive base payComprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programsGroup retirement savings programHealth and wellness programsAn inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotion About CRHCRH has a long and proud heritage.
