Job Description This role is responsible for investigating and confirming the facts of loss for complex automobile accidents. The position determines coverage, liability, and damages, and adjusts and negotiates claims within established authority levels. The role also includes handling injury claims within our Initial Handler Bodily Injury (IHBI) Casualty Unit. We are seeking an experienced Unrepresented Bodily Injury Consultant. The ideal candidate is located in the EST or CST time zones. Who is a self-motivated professional with strong time management skills, capable of working independently while effectively prioritizing tasks. Exceptional customer service, organizational abilities, and attention to detail are essential. Key Responsibilities Determines subrogation or fraud potential and how to handle for complex cases Applies advanced understanding of insurance policies written by the company, the industry, and organizational relationships within the company and department Handles investigation regarding all aspects of complex auto claims (coverage, liability and damages) with the exercise discretion and independence within increased level of authority For claims involving injuries (if handled), learns how to review, evaluate, and negotiate moderate to complex injury claims Recognizes and identifies body parts of a vehicle and understanding other potential property damage Identifies customer needs and works to meet those needs using appropriate customer service skills Supervisory Responsibilities This job does not have supervisory duties. Total compensation for this role may include additional components, such as incentive pay (for example, commission or bonus), if applicable.
