Staff Accountant

Number Crunchers Accounting is looking for a hardworking, highly motivated, and detail-oriented individual to join their team as a full-time staff accountant. This position requires a bachelor's degree in accounting and 3+ years of experience. Candidates with experience using Sage, QuickBooks, ATX and Excel preferred but not required. This career opportunity includes but is not limited to the following tasks for multiple clients in multiple states: Preparation of individual tax returns Preparation of business tax returns Financial statement preparation including accruals, journal entry posting, credit card and bank transaction posting, and credit card and bank reconciliations Sales tax return preparation and payment Payroll processing including bonus and commission calculation, pay differential calculation, PTO and sick time calculations, direct deposit, payroll tax payments, quarterly reporting, W-2 and 1095 preparation as well as workers compensation audits 1099 calculation and preparation Accounts receivables including receiving payments, collections and bank deposits Accounts payables including check processing and online bill payments Number Crunchers offers a benefit package including paid holidays, PTO, paid sick time, summer hours, health, dental, vision, life, retirement, and dependent care and health flex spending accounts.
