Field Safety Technician
Job Title: Field Safety Technician
Reports to: Safety Director
Position Purpose: The Field Safety Technician will work closely with HVAC technicians, controls technicians, warehouse personnel, and project teams to ensure that all safety protocols and regulations are met and followed. The candidate will be expected to travel to company branch and job site locations and will be responsible for job site and warehouse safety observations, inspections, assist with accident investigations, documentation, and reporting.

Duties and Responsibilities
Weekly travel (NC, SC, GA, VA, TN)
Performs construction site and warehouse safety observations and inspections
Promote safe work practices and safety guidelines
Provide communication and documentation of the inspections carried out
Ensure project sites are adequately equipped with safety equipment and PPE
Provide consultation and advice to the field team members and assist them with maintaining a safe working environment by complying with company and government safety regulations, practices, and standards.
Ability to work and collaborate with a safety team
Responding to employee safety concerns
Assist with employee training completions
Assist with completion of JHAs
Conduct jobsite safety meetings/toolbox talks
Position Requirements
OSHA 30 preferred
1- 5 years of experience in a safety related position, both General and Construction Industry knowledge preferred.
Knowledge of federal, state, and local safety and health regulations.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with field employees and project teams.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to travel throughout the work week, with 50% of the week being overnight stays
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
