Sterile Processing Supervisor (Evening) Shift:Day, Evening, Night, WeekendEmployment Status:Full‐Time (.75 or greater)Hours per Pay Period:1.00 = 80 hours every two weeks (Non‐Exempt)Starting Wage:$26.37 – $32.97 DOEThe Sterile Processing Supervisor assists the Sterile Processing Manager in providing leadership and management within sterile processing and the broader region as needed. The Supervisor is responsible for coordinating 24‐hour operational and clinical activities, including personnel management, quality control, regulatory compliance, budget support, and policy development. In the Manager's absence, the Supervisor may assume full 24‐hour responsibility for the assigned department(s).Essential Job FunctionsProvides leadership and directs sterile processing staff to achieve organizational and departmental goals.Coordinates daily operational activities and performs duties of sterile processing technicians.Develops and implements staff education plans and supplies ongoing training.Plans staffing levels, forecasts personnel needs, and maintains staffing within budgetary limits.Assists in developing, implementing, and maintaining policies and procedures for quality and safety.Communicates with internal customers, resolves conflicts, and builds collaborative relationships.Participates in short‐ and long‐term planning for departmental functions and budgeting.Maintains competency in safety standards and ensures staff adherence.Investigates adverse events and follows appropriate procedures.Applies process‐improvement principles to enhance departmental quality and efficiency.Serves as a resource for customers and supports staff education.Sets personal professional development goals and meets mandatory educational requirements.Minimum QualificationsHigh School diploma or GED.Two (2) years of supervisory experience in sterile processing with progressively responsible duties.Demonstrated competency in one or more specialty areas (orthopedics, open/general heart, neurology, urology/OB/GYN, or eye/ENT).Preferred: Prior Billings Clinic experience.Certification in sterile processing (CRCST, Certified Scrub Tech, or equivalent) required at hire.BenefitsMedical, Dental, and Vision coverage.403(b) retirement plan with employer matching and a defined‐contribution pension plan.Paid Time Off and an employee wellness program.Additional benefits outlined in the employee benefits guide.Billings Clinic is an equal‐opportunity employer that values diversity and inclusion.
