Loan Officer Assistant

Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role for a Loan Officer Assistant, based in Englewood, CO, with the opportunity for remote work options. The Loan Officer Assistant will support loan officers in processing loan applications, managing client communications, and maintaining documentation accuracy. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with clients and underwriters, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and providing exceptional customer service. Additionally, the role involves assisting in reviewing mortgage applications and overseeing document collection to facilitate a seamless loan process. Job duties include the following but not limited to:Reviewing on-line applications for missing information neededRequesting / collecting / reviewing documentation as needed Review bank statementsCommunication between real estate team / borrower / loan officerRunning payments for realtors for preapproved borrowersReview contracts and submit to processingPrepping files TBD files for processingMaintaining accuracy within multiple CRM'sQualificationsFamiliarity with Loan Officers and the Mortgage IndustryStrong knowledge of mortgage lending processes and standardsExceptional Customer Service and Communication skillsDetail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environmentProficient in using loan processing software and financial tools3+ years' experience in the mortgage or financial services industry High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in finance or related fields are advantageousNMLS licensing is a plus
