Sales and Marketing Coordinator
JOB PURPOSE: The Sales & Marketing Coordinator supports lead generation, business development, and marketing initiatives that drive company growth. This hybrid role combines sales outreach, CRM management, trade show engagement, and digital marketing support. The position is based in Butler, NJ and requires 3 in-office days per week for candidates within 30 miles. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Sales & Business Development Support Support the sales team by generating, qualifying, tracking, and reporting on inbound and outbound leads Engage with prospects via phone, email, events, and trade shows to gather information and identify sales opportunities Manage CRM activities including lead entry, updates, follow-ups, reporting, and pipeline tracking Track lead sources, conversion metrics, and overall sales activity performance Assist in the preparation of sales materials, presentations, and proposals Collaborate with sales leadership to align marketing initiatives with revenue and growth goals Actively sell to prospects, manage the sales process from lead to close, and earn commission on generated revenue Marketing & Brand Development Serve as the primary liaison with external marketing partners, tracking campaign progress and deliverables Plan, coordinate, and execute marketing campaigns in partnership with sales and external vendors Create, curate, and manage company content from concept to publication, including blogs, case studies, videos, and photography Maintain and update blogs and case studies based on industry trends and relevant topics Promote company initiatives and activity to internal teams and external audiences Leverage social media to increase brand awareness, support sales initiatives, and grow targeted audiences by industry and geography Innovate and execute digital marketing campaigns and brand initiatives aligned with business objectives Events, Analytics & Market Awareness Identify, evaluate, and recommend trade shows, sponsorships, and industry events Coordinate logistics and travel for trade shows, client interactions, and external events Represent the company at trade shows and industry events to initiate conversations and capture leads Monitor competitor activity and identify market opportunities Analyze and report on marketing performance metrics, including campaign effectiveness, engagement & growth Interpret Google Analytics and SEO performance data to identify opportunities for improved lead generation Performs other duties as assigned PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS: Marketing initiatives consistently support qualified lead generation and sales pipeline growth Actively engage in selling, converting qualified leads into closed business, meeting or exceeding individual sales and commission goals Sales teams receive timely, accurate, and well-documented leads that enable effective follow-up Trade shows and events produce meaningful prospect engagement, qualified leads, and actionable follow-ups CRM data is consistently accurate, up to date, and supports reliable reporting and sales forecasting The coordinator operates as a trusted, proactive partner to sales leadership, contributing to alignment between marketing and revenue goals REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES: Strong sales mindset with a passion for building relationships and closing opportunities Confident communicator comfortable speaking with prospects, clients, and executives Ability to connect marketing activity to sales outcomes Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills (samples may be requested) Highly organized with strong follow‑up and time‑management skills Comfortable working toward goals, deadlines, and performance metrics Self‑motivated, competitive, and resilient Professional demeanor in both virtual and in‑person environments Adaptable and solution‑oriented when priorities shift Enjoys learning and continuous improvement Able to work independently while collaborating cross‑functionally Adheres to Anserve’s core values EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Sales experience required (inside sales, business development, account management, or similar) Experience supporting or working closely with marketing teams preferred Familiarity with CRMs, lead tracking, or sales pipelines strongly preferred Working knowledge of digital marketing, SEO, and analytics is a plus Bachelor’s degree preferred Compensation & ScheduleSalary range: $45,000–$50,000 annuallyTraining Period: The first 2 months will involve shadowing our Director to learn our sales process, products, and client approach.Commission Structure:Months 3–4: Independent sales with Director oversight; earn 5% commission on each saleAfter 4 months: Fully independent role with 10% commission on all sales generatedWork Hours: Flexible and client-driven; candidates must be willing to work non-traditional or occasional odd hours to accommodate client needs.Responsibilities Split: Approximately 25% marketing support and 75% sales, including outreach, follow-ups, and promotional initiatives.Benefits include medical, dental, vision, EAP, paid time off, paid holidays, and 401(k) eligibility.SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS: None.
