Software Developer

On-site position only, Springfield, Mo Moonbeam's software engineers develop the next-generation technologies that change how companies and users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another. Our products need to handle information at large scale, and extend well beyond normal software. We're looking for engineers who bring fresh ideas from all areas, including information retrieval, distributed computing, large-scale system design, networking and data storage, security, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, UI design and mobile; the list goes on and is growing every day. As a software engineer, you will work on projects critical to Moonbeam's needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. We need our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new problems across the full-stack as we continue to push technology forward. With your technical expertise you will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions. Responsibilities - System testing and validation procedures. - Software programming and documentation development. - Consulting with departments or customers on project status and proposals. - Working with customers or departments on technical issues including software system design and maintenance. - Analyzing information to recommend and plan the installation of new systems or modifications of an existing system. - Consulting with engineering staff to evaluate software-hardware interfaces and develop specifications and performance requirements. - Designing and developing software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and design consequences. -Preparing reports on programming project specifications, activities, or status. -Conferring with project managers to obtain information on limitations or capabilities. Software Developer Requirements - Knowledge of the software development life-cycle. - The desire to work in fast-paced environment. - Ability to develop unit testing of code components or complete applications. - Creativity is always a plus. - Must be a full-stack developer and understand concepts of software engineering. - Experience working on a variety of software development projects. - Deep programming language knowledge. - Languages and frameworks we use include (but not limited to) Unity (big plus), Blockchain, including Eth, Poly, Cardano, and more, VB.NET, C#.NET, Javascript, LUA, Objective C, Android Java, Angular, SQL, IoT, ML, AR, among others Job Type: Full-time Pay: $44,157.00 - $112,645.00 per year Benefits: Dental insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift On call Weekends as needed Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Ability to Relocate: Springfield, MO 65804: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
