Construction Manager

Our client is seeking a Construction Manager to lead capital improvement and redevelopment projects across a national portfolio.This individual will play a key role in planning, budgeting, and executing construction initiatives aimed at increasing asset value and operational performance.This is a highly visible role that partners closely with acquisitions and asset management teams and requires the ability to manage multiple projects across various locations.📍 Dallas, TX (Onsite with ~30% travel)Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all phases of construction projects from due diligence through completionManage capital improvement programs across multiple assetsDevelop and track project budgets, schedules, and reportingSource, negotiate, and manage contractors, vendors, and consultantsConduct site visits to ensure progress, quality, and safety standardsSupport acquisitions efforts by evaluating construction scope, timelines, and costsCollaborate with internal teams to execute value-add initiativesEnsure projects are completed on time and within budgetIdentify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities in design and executionEnsure compliance with all applicable regulationsQualifications5+ years of construction management experience (commercial, industrial, or similar)Experience managing multiple projects across different locationsStrong knowledge of construction processes, budgeting, and schedulingProven contractor/vendor management and negotiation skillsAbility to travel regularly to project sitesPreferred ExperienceBackground in value-add or repositioning projectsFamiliarity with permitting and multi-jurisdictional processesExperience with project management tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project)Ability to interpret construction drawings and specificationsWhy JoinOpportunity to work with a growing, specialized investment platformExposure to unique and niche asset classesEntrepreneurial, collaborative team environmentCompetitive compensation and benefits
