The FMT is responsible for the ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work on facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and other installed systems including fire and security alarms. This role requires day-to-day coordination of building maintenance (reactive and preventive).In addition to the above ( HVAC Maintenance III): Works as a lead HVAC Technician assisting other technicians on how to perform critical repairs and are responsible for the facility's HVAC throughout the manufacturing facility with regard to all controls and some electrical projects. This position supports all Maintenance tasks related to preventive maintenance, updating, repairing, optimizing and installing existing and new equipment. This position also supports maintenance projects initiated by Maintenance work orders, Maintenance Management or Project Engineering personnel.Under the direction of the Facilities Supervisor, repair, install, replace, and service various types of facility equipment and systems to include: Mechanical, plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilating, air conditioning, equipment operator, carpenter, painter, and/or locksmith.Maintain process water and equipment including preventative maintenance tasks, and operational data.Maintain electrical distribution and equipment including preventative maintenance tasks, and operational data.Maintain compressed air systems and equipment including preventative maintenance tasks, and operational data.Operate andmaintain boilers and associated equipment, and piping systems,including preventative maintenance tasks, and operational data.Assists in maintaining WFI water treatment, storage and distribution system.Perform routine checks and inspections to ensure that all systems are functioning properly.Evaluate equipment breakdown and conduct mechanical/electrical troubleshooting.Order and maintain replacement and spare parts for the facility and equipment.Maintains thorough knowledge of GMP, SOP and FDA requirements.Performs snow removal as required.Documents facilities maintenance requirements; creates and maintains appropriate records of work performed in the computerized maintenance management system.Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of resources.Promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.Interacts with manufacturers, vendors, and operations to resolve issues and concerns.In addition to the above ( HVAC Maintenance III):Troubleshoot problems, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on HVAC and boiler steam systems.Provide low voltage (High School diploma or equivalent. Ability to work nights and weekends requiredCity of Spokane third-class boiler operator's license desiredSpokane Gas Heating Mechanic's 1 License desiredEPA 608 Universal Refrigerant Handling License desiredWA L&I Electrical Trainee License desired0-3 Years' experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified in a campus environment, plant facility, or related industry (preferably pharmaceutical).Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis requiredKnowledge of one or more building trades desiredSkill in the use of computers, preferably in a PC, Windows-based operating environment requiredAbility to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures requiredAbility to use hand and power tools applicable to trade requiredAbility to repair and maintain appliances and heating and cooling equipment requiredAbility to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures requiredPays attention to detail; work is accurate and meets all standards and requirements requiredExtensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds requiredWork environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.Maintenance Technician II (In addition to the above):3-5 Years' experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified in a campus environment, plant facility, or related industry (preferably pharmaceutical).Maintenance Technician III (In addition to the above):High school + technical certification requiredPrefer HVAC and Steam Systems experience. Also prefer refrigeration license, gas mechanics license and a boiler license desiredMinimum 5 years related experience requiredFDA Regulated Industry and Lead experience preferredThe incumbent must possess the knowledge typically attained through successful completion of a technical program working with refrigeration systems and boiler, steam and hot water heating systems in a technical discipline or a technical certification with 2 to 4 years of practical experience. This includes the ability to write detailed reports to document work completed required.Ability to lift 60 pounds unassisted requiredShift:Weekday, Swing shiftCompensation & Benefits:This is anon-site,full-time position located in Spokane, WA.Hiring Wage:Maintenance Technician I-$25.11-$33.96 hr. depending on experience, with opportunity for growth, promotion and annual raises. Midpoint and above is reserved for employees who have longevity with Jubilant HollisterStier and consistently exhibit outstanding performance over a period of time in the roleMaintenance Technician II-$27.90-$ $37.73 hr. depending on experience, with opportunity for growth, promotion and annual raises.
