The ideal candidate will have experience in database performance tuning, high availability, backup & recovery, and production support. This role requires close collaboration with development, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure database platforms.Must-Have Skills• 8+ years of Database Engineering/DBA experience• 5+ years of hands-on PostgreSQL administration• PostgreSQL performance tuning and query optimization• High Availability, Replication, Backup & Recovery• Strong SQL and PL/pgSQL• Linux administration• Scripting (Python or Bash)• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP database environments• Production support and troubleshooting• Excellent communication and problem-solving skillsNice to Have• Kubernetes or Docker• Terraform or Ansible• PostgreSQL managed services (AWS RDS/Aurora, Azure Database for PostgreSQL)• Database migration and automation experience
