Vehicle Operations Specialist (Contract)

We have an elite team of entrepreneurs and technologists who share the same passion and pursue continuous excellence in their work.What you will do:Thoroughly understand how our self-driving technology worksStay on top of countless daily changes, both big and smallSafely operate test vehicles for up to 8 hours a day to evaluate and help improve our autonomous driving systemConsistently make exceptional judgment callsShare detailed feedback on our technology and top priorities with engineers and managersBe the voice of the company to self-driving enthusiasts and curious onlookersDemonstrate work flexibility in a startup environment – responsibilities include: regularly washing company vehicles, garage maintenance support, carrying things as needed, picking up co-workers (when on business trips), and any other non in vehicle task ad hoc task as neededRequirements:2 years of experience as an AV (Autonomous Vehicle) Safety OfficerStrong focus on safety firstExcellent communication skills, fluent in EnglishValid U.S. driver's license and a clean driving recordCommitment to significant time overseas (>25% in mid east and Europe) training new safety drivers. Preferred To HaveProven record of success thriving in a team settingPassion for vehicles and/or experience in vehicle maintenanceExpertise in vehicle technologyProficiency in multiple languages is a plusWe may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
