Civil Construction Supervisor (Manassas)

The Civil Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating field crews on civil construction projects, including site development, roadway, and infrastructure work. This role ensures projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with all VDOT specifications, company standards, and regulatory requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and lead field crews in daily civil construction activitiesPlan, organize, and coordinate work to meet project schedules and deadlinesInterpret and execute project plans, specifications, and shop drawingsEnsure all work complies with VDOT standards, project specifications, and safety regulationsCoordinate with project managers, inspectors, subcontractors, and suppliersMonitor productivity, quality, and workmanship on-siteConduct daily safety meetings and enforce company safety policiesTrack labor, equipment, and material usageIdentify and resolve field issues proactively to avoid delaysMaintain accurate daily reports, including work progress, crew activities, and site conditionsEnsure proper use and maintenance of equipment and toolsQualificationsProven supervising experience in heavy civil constructionProficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, BluebeamExperience with grading, utilities, drainage, paving, or roadway constructionFamiliarity with OSHA regulations and safety protocols specific to civil projects.Excellent management skills with the ability to supervise teams while fostering collaboration.
