This position focuses on ensuring student safety, assisting with class activities, preparing materials and equipment, and providing appropriate supervision, especially in settings requiring same-gender supervision such as locker rooms.The hourly Physical Education Aide pay rate to work on assignment with Susquenita School District is $17.00/hour.5 days of Paid Time Off (prorated based on hire date).Employer paid clearances and TB screening!The Physical Education Aide will work 182 days following the academic calendar year.Current need is for a female candidate to support settings requiring same-gender supervision such as locker rooms.Openings for '25-'26 School Year:Susquenita High School, 7:30am - 2:30pmPrimary Responsibilities:Assist PE teachers in implementing daily lessons, activities, and fitness programsSupervise students during PE classes, including warm-ups, sports, games, and cooldownsMonitor and supervise female locker rooms to ensure safety, order, and privacyHelp to prepare, set up, and clean up equipment and materials for PE activitiesSupport the instruction and reinforcement of physical fitness, sportsmanship, and health principlesProvide assistance to students with special needs or those requiring additional guidanceEnforce school and safety rules during PE periods and transitionsAccompany students to and from locker rooms or activity areas when neededReport any injuries or behavioral concerns to certified staff promptly
